Camera position, image resolution, power supply, data connection, weather protection, remote access, monitoring, data archiving and post-production must work together reliably over months or years. We take responsibility for the entire technical and creative chain. As a result, there are no interfaces between camera technology, data transmission, operations and post-production. This reduces coordination effort and ensures that the final result is taken into account right from the planning stage.
01 · CONSULTATION
Initial consultation & project analysis
In the free initial consultation, we analyse the project size, duration, site situation and desired purpose of the footage. From this, we develop a suitable concept for the camera system, viewing angles, recording interval, power supply and data connection.
02 · CONCEPT
Location Planning & Outlook
A long-term camera cannot simply be repositioned later without altering the visual impact. That is why we plan the perspective, focal length, framing and mounting position before the project even starts, keeping the entire construction schedule and the final time-lapse film in mind.
03 · CAMERA TECHNOLOGY
Construction & Development of the Camera Systems
Our systems are specially designed for professional long-term recording. High-resolution camera technology, robust housings, remote control, power supply, and communication modules form a single unit for reliable operation over months and years.
04 · INSTALLATION
Assembly & Commissioning
Our installation team installs the camera systems directly on site – on buildings, roofs, masts, construction containers, individual tripods, custom-built platforms or even in difficult terrain. Afterwards, the camera parameters, framing, connection and data transmission are configured and the system is fully commissioned.
05 · CONNECTIVITY
5G, LTE & Satellite
For data transmission, we select the appropriate connection depending on the location. 5G and LTE enable flexible operation independently of site IT. For remote locations, our systems can additionally be connected via satellite.
06 · ENERGY
Power supply & off-grid operation
Where a standard 230 V supply is available, we integrate the system directly into the existing infrastructure. For remote locations, self-sufficient solutions with photovoltaics and rechargeable batteries are also possible. An uninterruptible power supply via an internal battery additionally protects operation during short-term power outages.
07 · OPERATION
Operations & 24/7 Monitoring
Following commissioning, we continuously monitor the technical condition of the systems. The recording function, data transmission and system status are checked so that potential faults can be identified at an early stage and documentation remains as seamless as possible.
08 · ONLINE
Time-lapse, Webcam & Project Portal
Current images and historical photographs can be provided via a web-based project portal. This allows construction progress to be tracked regardless of location and used for internal or public communication.
09 · SUPPORT
Ongoing support and modifications
Construction projects change. Therefore, recording intervals, operating hours and other parameters can be adjusted during the project duration. We also handle service, position changes or technical adjustments directly on site.
10 · WORKFLOW
JPG & RAW Workflow
Our cameras capture high-quality individual images instead of merely recording a compressed video stream. With our camera systems, JPG and RAW files are available for maximum flexibility in dynamic range, colour correction and subsequent post-production.
11 · PROJECT END
Dismantling
Following completion of the project, we will undertake the professional dismantling of the camera systems and all associated components. Mounting points and temporary installations will be dismantled cleanly and without leaving any residue, wherever possible.
12 · POSTPRODUCTION
Film production and post-production
Following project completion, the final time-lapse film is created from thousands of high-resolution individual images. Selection, image development, stabilisation, colour grading, editing, music and, upon request, additional drone, photo or live-action footage are combined into a professional overall production. Should things need to move quickly, for instance for current TV reporting, we offer live editing.
